t It already a month, I still can’t adjust
with my mother family. There's still an awkward between us.
"Yuri, come here !", she called me.
"Yes, mother"
"Go buy these things before dinner. Go to nearest store.Bring these back before dinner!", she commend me and leave some money before she goes back to the kitchen.
"Where's the can? Am I in the wrong section?", I talked to myself.
"Yuri?", someone call my name.
I turn my back and saw one young man gazing at my face to confirm.
"It's really you, oh, how I miss you so much", he suddenly hug me.
"Don't say, you don't know me", he looked at me straight in my eyes.
'Yup, his right. I have no idea who he's', I said in my mind.
"That's cruel. But, I don't mind. Just a bit disappoint. My name is-"
"Nice to meet you too, I have to go now. Bye then", I cut him and ran as I saw the clock in the store almost 5 P.M.
He look at me, disbelieve and chuckle of my sudden attitude.
"Niel-, Why're you laughing?", Ricky look at him with narrowing his eyes, suspicious with his friend.
"Nothing particularly", he take a breath and said..
"So this is the feeling of being rejected".
"What are you-",
"Shut up, come on, the others has been waiting for us", he go to the counter pay.

'It's already late, the store that I go, is in town. 20 minutes to arrive to my house.. but, the sun already set down... I look at the cloud. It's has turn darker, the cloud gonna pour the rain to the earth.
I arrive at home 15 minute later, as I set foot in front of entranced, the rain pour heavily, thunder sound can be heard.
"I'm back", I let the other know my present. Nobody reply it.
I when to the kitchen, put the plastic bag contain can food and others things. I managed to put the vegetables, fruits, bread etc.
When, I want to put the can in the cabinet,
suddenly, a hand grasp the plastic bag.
"I'm sorry mother, I'm a bit late", I said,her face turn red, furious about something.
"Didn't I told you, COME BACK BEFORE DINNER!", she yell at me and hit me with the plastic bag, containing can food.
It hit my head. I fall hard on the floor. I could rise from the floor, my head feel dizzy, a liquid come out from my head.
I couldn't move or said anything. Laying there, getting hit and being scold. After that, I couldn't remember what happen to me as I pass out.

I heard someone enter my room, every seconds, every minutes. But, I could help myself for fall asleep. The hand, wipe the blood and put medicine on it, caring and careful with the way that person touch.
Remind me of mother hands, it's so warm and comfortable.
"Mother", I murmured in my sleep.
"I'm sorry for all her doing", he touch her head that have been wrapped with bandage.
"At least, you have a nice dream", he kiss your forehead.
who's he? I open my eyes, It's blurry, I can just see his back facing me and walk out of my room.
"Yuri, wake up", someone gently shaking my body.
"Yuri-", he look at me as I open my eyes. He give a relief breath.
"uhm-", I can't speak properly.
"It's okay, I come here, to give you food for your stomach. You didn't eat last night", he said.
He help me to siting.
"Here your food, say a'ah" , he said and feed me with the porridge.
"Kai, It's okay. I can do all by myself", I said and try to get the bowl.
"No, a'ah", he insist. I give up and he keep feeding me, large amount of porridge, while it's still hot.
I look at him. When I first met him, he stare at me like he want to eat me alive if I messing with him. Now, he feeding me, taking care of me...
I cry in front of him.
"T-Th-Thank y-you", I said in between my sob.
He put the bowl and hug me.
"Nah, It's should be me thanking you", he said.
That day, our heart has tied together, understanding each other painful and accepting me as part of his family.
